Spiristism works to breakdown society from the family unit as we once knew it.
The same one who wrote the moral law condems unantural acts of homesexuality. All are born with a tendency to corrupt practices that are inherited from a fallen nature, But sin is accounted to us when we participate in these wrong acts which impact the person physically and spiritually.
As the Creator joined the hands of the holy pair in wedlock, saying, A man shall “leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one,” He enunciated the law of marriage for all the children of Adam to the close of time. That which the eternal Father Himself had pronounced good was the law of highest blessing and development for man. {AH 340.4} There were physical and spiritual blessings in that which God had ordained yet……
Romans 1:26 God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet
Nature tells us what is natural by that which is meant to fit to together and that which ought to compliment a family.
The argument that a church should accept homosexuality is like saying we should accept sinners as they are and let them continue in that state as if God will saction sin and that which He never naturally intended. Only those that recieve a new nature from above and repent shall be saved. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
