The attacks on an international scale- apostate christianity that sells weapons to terrorist organisations and countries and inflicts casualties across the world in warfare while representing Christian nations. Thus the wars in Libya and Syria. A counterbalance to these is the power of atheistic communism that withholds free speech and true religious liberty is represented as a power that ascends out of the bottomless pit and North korea is an example of this and Russia but particularly as the former USSR. Anyone who represents God by destroying human life is not of God but of Satan. He is represented as the dragon or as the monster.
Three powers ascend from the bottomless pit of confusion to kill and destroy and spread false doctrine, confusion and war across the globe, this is how Revelation portrays them.
