The first thing a person often asks you on meeting is what do you do? It’s time we rethought these things. Some are so proud of the title and time spent to receive the title in the roman school of thought but the money and time has left them spiritually poverty striken. Instead of saying i’m a lawyer perhaps we could say ‘ I’m a gospel medical worker for example. What is our role here that is preparing us for eternity. Shouldn’t we state that so it also become clear in our own minds. Are we building our careers for eternity? What will the baker say? I can practice more usury in heaven??The potential and uniqueness that you possess should never be measured against the world. The role of men in society has become uncertain and blurred. The true role of the woman undervalued and neglected.
Long courses of study, that are often mind numblingly indoctrinating with Greek philosophies, evolutionary or in the Muslim world dictatorial. All in some way neglect the moral law of God. Three beasts ascend in the Revelation from the bottomless pit to capture the mind or force the will of men and women in order for them to fit in to society and earn a living. Young Australian men are in crisis, with half feeling stressed and nearly one in 10 having thoughts about suicide, according to new research.
What is going wrong for our young people? Families are shattered- many families have no a lasting structure or example of such. The media is presenting a damming alternative to real love and families. The competitive packaging of people to conformity at the expense of the individual is wrong. A dog eat dog world of competitors. A drug culture that leaves the frontal lobe damaged and unable to work effectively and make good decisions. God calls those who are willing to be taught of Christ, calling them to their full potential of what they can become in Christ.
