In open for business I am interested in presenting ideas and alternate ways of living that give us that freedom in a spiritual and physical sense.  How do we make a living that is a life for God.  How can we help others in successful enterprises who are struggling to make it in Australia under privatization for example, that gives them back their sense of value or self esteem. This will take a little while to open up this section and I am interested in your feed back.

The master mind in the confederacy of evil is ever at work to keep the truth out of sight, and to bring into full view the opinions of great men. The enemy is doing all in his power to obscure heaven’s light through educational processes; for he does not mean that men shall hear the voice of the Lord, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” [Isaiah 30:21.]

Letter of interest

I am thinking again of the gap between the rich and the poor, after Brian posted his thoughts a few months ago…

I am also thinking of the results we may have to face, in the not too distant future of this world, if some of us are not prepared for the coming changes, some of which will result from the conflict between the rich and the poor…  What will our present thoughts and actions be creating for ourselves, and others, as we prepare?

A message from our hearts and from nature is becoming evident in the thoughts and actions of some who are aware of the state of being that humans find themselves in lately.  Many are looking for answers to the serious problems of humanity.  I am thinking now of messages which are congruent with truth that lives in compassionate and charitable action.

I am presenting here the beginning of an idea in which one person gives in order to enable many to do the same, sustainability.  Instead of a pyramid effect, it would be more like the snowball rolling on the ground effect… There could be as many, or as few as needed, in any given area, and the result would produce the same abundance factor.

To begin this thought, I would like to state a few principles which would be good to incorporate in any action initiated….freedom and sovereignty…qualities so desired by compassionate humans, are necessary for exemplifying any course of action which may result from these ideas presented.  With Sovereignty comes responsibility equal to the corresponding privilege…Freedom comes from a knowledge of the truth, incorporating a transparency of thought and purpose.

Although many rights are earned, the right to life, liberty and freedom of conscience, is given of God to all…equality is inherent in every human….Having said this, the understanding of the earth we live on, and the body we live in, and how to care for ourselves and the earth, differentiating between our realm and someone else’s, becomes essential for the true compassionate.  Believers in Truth must be unified, in order to move together toward any certain goal.  The secret of unity is found in the equality of believers… With the understanding of these principles, along with the true principles of farming and gardening, the efforts of preparation for the future may be successful with the majority of people.

I am presenting an outline and a seed of an idea, to use for preparing families and individuals for the changes in the future, along with an idea of long needed restoration of the small family farmers to dignity, sovereignty and the land itself.

It appears to me, that partly because of the tremendous fight they have to engage in, just to keep the farm, the small family farms are failing.  This seems to be so, at least here in the US and Australia.  True farming, as opposed to commercial, large scale farming, seems to become a dying art, when these rural families face the real challenge of holding it all together, considering all that is against them, including certain laws involving taxes and rates.

One seriously has to be a scientist, a geologist, a botanist, and a zoologist as well as a doctor and a lawyer just to keep the family farm economically viable… It appears to me, that the second and third generation farmers are finding it hard now to bring in enough income to keep their own children interested in the farm long enough to apprentice and learn what would be needed to keep the farm in the future. These farmers do not have the lifestyle or time to share their valuable knowledge and experience with others the way they would like to…this vital information they have acquired over generations of farming, may be lost or weakened because of this and other factors. These challenges are likely to be at least part of the cause of the growing gap between the rich and the poor. The farmers need the constant support of the society and protection from the government, in order to continue to provide food for more than just their own families and neighbors.

So, here’s the seed of the idea…Just think of what might be possible if a wealthy person, who wants to move out of the cities, would find two places in the country… each with two dwellings, one where another family could live, and develop a home industry which would bring income.  Perhaps the wealthy family could actually give one piece of land, with Homes, water and potential for a home industry to the poor family to begin this positive trend…  Both the wealthy land owner and the poor family could put some money aside from the income of their rentals and industries.  The rentals on the land could also be “starting out” places for those hoping to learn how to live in the country.

Then those families could help the wealthy person establish the NEXT family somewhere else, NOT necessarily nearby, with a home industry they work with, on the land, by giving 10% of their income …Even if the parents would begin with their own children, helping each one as they begin to prepare for a family, or life… with each family giving 10-20 percent of his income toward the amount that would be used to get the next family out of debt and into the country with a home industry. (Unless there are already laws in effect that would prevent this from being able to happen.)

I would imagine that the incentive to learn farming and a country lifestyle industry would be so much greater, if the ones, who put forth the effort to do so, would get to keep the land for themselves and their children.  When they succeed in developing a home industry from the land, and give 10% of all income towards the next worthy family who would do the same, then they are able to keep the land permanently, hopefully continuing to give into the fund which supports the next family until they also are successful.

Here is an interesting quote that was written approximately 150 years ago…

“It was not the purpose of God that poverty should ever leave the world. The ranks of society were never to be equalized; for the diversity of conditions which characterizes our race is one of the means by which God has designed to prove and develop character. Many have urged with great enthusiasm that all men should have an equal share in the temporal blessings of God; but this was not the purpose of the Creator. Christ has said that we shall have the poor always with us. The poor, as well as the rich, are the purchase of His blood; and among His professed followers, in most cases, the former serve Him with singleness of purpose, while the latter are constantly fastening their affections on their earthly treasures, and Christ is forgotten. The cares of this life and the greed for riches eclipse the glory of the eternal world. It would be the greatest misfortune that has ever befallen mankind if all were to be placed upon an equality in worldly possessions.”

But this is not saying that abject poverty and people without homes or food is approved by God. He does not approve or like the pain of suffering and abject poverty in this world…and who is the test of character for?  Is it for the rich to give, or the poor to forgive?  Both I think, because…I think the test of character comes most when the chance to do unto others as you would have them to do unto you comes.

…So I am not suggesting that all should be equal in temporal possessions, but encouraged in usefulness and the ability to be as self sustaining as possible. So that each individual may enjoy the preparedness needed at this time for the events of the future, which will “…soon come upon us with blinding force.”

If we are speaking of the Christian faith, every church member is to be a minister of the gospel… and the tithe is to go to the ministers…right?  When all the members are out of debt and in the country with their own homes and home industries, then the 20% from each income, would give that group power to really disciple, and carry out pure religion. (James 1:27)

If the fatherless and the widows were helped to have their own homes, with a home industry, in the country, then they would also be able to help give 20% towards the next disadvantaged person ….making them no longer disadvantaged, etcetera….

We reap what we sow…

When we are speaking of a more aurevetic faith or Budaic philosophy we come to face with the belief that there would be karma we would receive in leaving the duty to our land and fellow man to chance, or other more cruel factors of society.

This is another quote that was written over 100 years ago…

“The work of the people of God is to prepare for the events of the future which will soon come upon us with blinding force…”  Even those who used to scoff at this idea of catastrophic events may realize the possibility of this reality now.

We are warned by this author to find places that are out of the cities, away from the view of neighbors, and where we can raise our own provisions, because the problem of buying and selling will soon be a very serious one. We could now press together financially before it becomes too late to do so. And help each other…3-4 families in one area, but NOT on the same land of course.

This would begin to fulfill the prophecy, written in the Old Testament of the Bible, about “Turning the hearts of the fathers to the children…”

Very few people these days can own a home out right with the economy the way it is. And it would be hard for an older person to grow gardens and manage a property all alone as well…

The warning in the Bible is different for each age. Just as Noah was instructed to build an ark for the coming flood, we are instructed to create a country property, in this day and age, for the coming destruction, (and be out of financial debt) for each family in these last days of Earth’s history.

But just what if God’s people actually obeyed? How would we do this? What would it look like? I’m sure it is not “every man for himself”.

I don’t see how any one person could get out of debt and become self- sustaining on a country property, without help financially, unless they were extremely rich and already had an independent income.

“Move out of the cities” is the command God has given for this time. It is directed to those who believe and obey, as a way to avoid the coming plagues that are mentioned in the Revelation. (It makes sense anyway, even if you don’t read the Bible.)

Not that what we do will save any one, but this is an opportunity to show our faith in God. He will save all who put their trust in Him.  We show our faith by our works. This would open the way for people to teach others what they have done and about the skills they have, individually. i.e.: carpentry, horse training, animal husbandry, plumbing, dentistry,  music, salt making, how to make cosmetics & soap, movie production & photography ,house building, natural healing, bee keeping, shoe making, gardening, etc. Each country home could be a kind of school that operates as a school when needed. Doctors and other professionals could live outside small towns and still work their profession from the country.

The farm schools could be single family homes that a family lives in, working a home industry, or two, from their country property.  The family could bring young people to their place at times, teaching different skills, to the guests, on how to: live in the country with alternate power source, build homes, and grow gardens, manage a restaurant or health food store, manage clean living health retreats, learn out door skills, give Bible studies, keep bees alive in the world, build energy efficient homes…etc.

Farm school homes are the first step to properly running a restaurant and country hospital.  They are to support the health retreat/hospital which it is said that it would be ideal to have one just outside every city in the world…

These are NOT places where people from different families live together, but where each family is independent yet united in purpose, having home industries that support the family and the out reach places for the good of society.

Workers can come to work at the country hospital, city restaurant, or health food store, etc. as any other work place. The hospitals could be run hygienically and naturally in connection with things like an inner city (rented) restaurant and clinic for stop smoking and weight loss etc…Also a Mountain or farm country school, which is run from a family home, could help supply the organic produce needed.  Say perhaps a small percentage from each family home…

It would be good to have a country hospital for natural healing, and a small town clothing and /or produce store, sharing produce from the farms for the hygienic restaurant, store and hospital.  Renting the out reach places in the city, but owning outright, the places in the country.

This would require many families working together…. But it could begin with a small group of families who are united in purpose. Not necessarily agreed on every little thing, except for the principles and purposes.

What a generation of real men and women would be developed! And a lifestyle conducive to family and nature would be encouraged….I invite you all to help me develop and/or discuss if you like.
