Jeremiah 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place [was] a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, [and] by his fierce anger.
When God’s restraining hand is removed, the destroyer begins his work. Then in our cities the greatest calamities will come.–3MR 314 (1897). {LDE 111.1}
