There are three conflicting powers that ascend out of the bottomless pit as described in Revelation which has relevance in understanding the world at war today. The conflict of powers from paganism to pseudo-Christian to Muslim is encapsulated in the history of Istanbul. The history of Rome and the dark ages takes us to the oncoming era as World follows the Bishop of Rome in his encyclical which is the backbone to the Paris agreement on climate change which ultimately leads the world into another dark age.
